Health and Safety Advisor Role
Sentinel Construction Compliance are uniquely placed within the Jersey construction industry to be able to provide Health and Safety support services to both clients and contractors - through the HSPC role for either party but also our H&S Advisor role in supporting contractors to deliver safety on-site and meet Regulatory requirements.
In our H&S Advisor role we can provide:
Policy preparation and review
Companies that employ 5 or more people are legally required to have a written health and safety policy. We are able to assist clients with developing clear, concise policies for their company and reviewing existing policies to ensure legal compliance.
Preparation and review of Construction Phase Plans
We specialise in preparing project specific Construction Phase Plans for construction companies who do not have the resources, skills or time to prepare the plans. We work closely with you to ensure that the safety plans are site specific, practical and timely delivered given the early pressures to commence the works.
Site Inspection
Construction sites should be regularly inspected by competent persons to ensure hazards are properly identified, controlled and not placing staff or others at risk. For companies who do not have an appropriately qualified person, we are able to offer this service to identify safety concerns before they become a problem.
Accident Investigations
In the unfortunate event of an accident occurring on site, we are able to assist with the investigation, helping you to determine any underlying shortcomings and identifying appropriate remedial actions.
