Commissioning of Pre-Construction Reports
In preparing the Pre-Construction Information (PCI) pack either for tender enquiry use or to present to the selected Principal Contractor for consideration prior to works commencement, we are able to review and advise upon the necessary investigations and reports being obtained such that these then best avoid potential delay to the works commencement or even more costly impacts during construction. Some report commissions may take several weeks to conclude and may also require off island laboratory analysis and reporting so early identification of such needs is key.
We are able to undertake a review of the existing and proposed works involvements and advise upon the need for say condition surveys, drainage surveys, asbestos surveys (a definite requirement on any pre-2000 properties or projects considered to have a potential involvement with Asbestos Containing Materials), ground contamination surveys, percolation tests and even the testing of existing services as to capacity, resilience etc so as to best determine the full extent of any potential health and safety and project risks which can then be considered and managed accordingly.
Our past experience and detailed understanding of where potential and unforeseen risks and failures may lie, whether health and safety related or project proposals related, means that we are providing the project with the optimal opportunity for risk management and trouble-free delivery.
